Tacrolimus 0.5 mg / 1 mg

Uses:

• Prevention of organ rejection in patients who have undergone kidney, liver, or heart transplants

• Used in combination with other immunosuppressive medicines to maintain graft survival

• Works by suppressing the immune system to prevent it from attacking the transplanted organ

Side Effects:

• Tremors, headache

• Nausea, diarrhea, stomach discomfort

• Increased blood pressure or blood sugar levels

• Increased risk of infections

• Rare: kidney problems, severe allergic reactions, changes in heart rhythm
